Terms & Conditions

 

Deposit

A non refundable deposit of £25 per person per week or part week is required to secure your reservation.

Cancellations

Guests are reminded that a booking is a legally binding contract. In the event of a cancellation the deposit is always non refundable and the following charges may apply:-

Over 28 days to start of holiday - Deposit only
15 - 28 Days to start of holiday - 25% of holiday cost or deposit which ever is greater.
8 - 14 Days to start of holiday - 50% of holiday cost or deposit which ever is greater.
1 - 7 Days to start of holiday - 75% of holiday cost or deposit which ever is greater.
Arrival Day - 100% of holiday cost.

If you have not registered with us by 8.00pm on your arrival day or have not informed us that you will be arriving at a later time we reserve the right to re-let your room and charge you any cancellation charges applicable above.

Due to these charges we strongly recommend you insure against the possibility of cancellation.

In the event you do have to cancel and we are able to let your room then we will refund any money paid less deposit.

Where the guest gives credit card details in order to make payment of a deposit it is agreed between the parties that in the event of cancellation The Glendeveor may debit the guest's credit card with the full amount of the cancellation charge less an allowance for any deposit or payment already received.

The Glendeveor reserves the right to cancel a booking forthwith without liability on its part in the event of damage or destruction to the hotel by fire or other causes, any shortage of labour or food supplies, or any other cause beyond the control of The Glendeveor which shall prevent it from performing its obligations in connection with any booking. In such an event The Glendeveor will refund the deposit made but will have no further liability to the Guest.

Payments

Payment can be made by debit/credit card or cheques. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Electron, Maestro and Solo. In any event we request balance payments 1 month prior to your arrival date to allow for banking and clearing times. We are unable to accept cheques even with guarantee cards for any payments once you have arrived. There is a 3.5% surcharge for credit card transactions.

Breakages

Please report all breakages. If you leave the without reporting breakages then we reserves the right to invoice a guest following departure with cost of repairs and any additional administration charges.

Special Needs

When enquiring about accommodation, please tell us of any special needs or requirements you may have so that we may advise on the suitability of the rooms we offer. We do not have a lift.

Pets

We are sorry but we cannot accept any pets. Guide dogs are accepted by prior arrangement.

Parking

We have a large private enclosed car park which is for guests use.

Arrival/Departure times

Arrival time is from 3.00pm, if you are planning on arriving earlier then please let us know in advance and we will do our best to get your room ready for you.

Checking out time is 10.00am on day of departure.
